TREASURY MANAGEMENT
- Negotiated with banks and set up a $2.0 million bank bill borrowing facility at BBSY ( Bank bill Swap Bid rate) plus 1.5% for a Not for Profit organisation
- Raised $200 million at cost effective interest rates (below BBSW Bank Bill interbank Swap rate) for a major rated corporate, inviting 10 banks to tender for the underwritten interest rate risk hedged commercial paper issuance facility.
- Managed the investment strategy and interest rate risk on $750 million placed with board approved counterparties in risk rated Promissory notes, Bank bills and NCDs .
- Managed multi currency cash flows, interest rate and FX risk management implementing risk management strategies using Futures, FRAs and SWAPS to control the interest rate and FX risk exposure respectively.
- Customised and Implemented a new real time Treasury system for a major corporate, with exposure to interest rate risk, Forein currency risk and foreign currency cash flows.
CHANGE MANAGEMENT
Lead managed an operations centralisation project for a large corporate, in a complex shared services environment, significantly rationalising human resources and operational costs turning around profitability.
